We’ll have a full tournament summary and some pictures up in a few days, but here’s a list of the winners of the 6 round robin groups for the tournament.

Where to find a table tennis coach PDF Print E-mail
Table Tennis Coaching - Coaching Articles

One of the best ways to improve your table tennis skills is to find a coach to provide you with one on one personal coaching or to attend a table tennis clinic with a qualified coach.

Personal table tennis coaching is normally more expensive per hour than a clinic, but you have a more personal and focused experience.

There are 5 levels of table tennis coaches recognized by the USATT. Depending on your skill level, you can decide what coach would be able to help improve your game the most and fit into your budget.

The 5 levels of table tennis coaches are:

Youth Instructor Level (IN): Intended for coaches in other sports or physical education teachers who want an insight on how to teach
table tennis to beginning juniors in a structured program. Not for table tennis players.
ClubLevel (C): Able to teach beginner adults and juniors up to a USATT rating level of 1250.
State Level (S): Able to teach intermediate adults and juniors from 1250 up to a USATT rating level of 1750.
Regional Level (R): Able to teach intermediate adults and juniors from 1750 up to a USATT rating level of 2250.
National Level (N): Able to teach advanced players up to and above a USATT rating level 2250 and National Team level players.

The above info is from the USATT Coaches list where you can find a certified coach in your area.

At our South Park Table Tennis Club in Pittsburgh, we are fortunate enough to have:

3 Regional Level Coaches

  • Chip Coulter
  • Dennis Kaminsky
  • Randy Seemiller

and 2 Club Level Coaches

  • Gary Egri
  • Rich Moss
