I just happened to stumble across two articles in today’s Pittsburgh Tribune Review online written by Les Harvath discussing local players anticipation of seeing some table tennis coverage during the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Looks like the author tracked down club member B.J. Janadri and Ken Roskos for interviews, with some contributions by club President Gary Egri and Vice President/club champion Randy Seemiller.

The article on B.J. is Connellsville pediatrician a table tennis enthusiast and the article on Ken is Table tennis enthusiasts await Olympics.

Reading the above articles reminded me about another recent article highlighting where people can go to participate in a number of Olympic sports written by Karen Price — Area residents can experience Olympics close to home listing Club President Gary Egri and Treasurer Harold Elson as contacts.

Thanks to the authors for the coverage and thanks to B.J., Ken, Gary, Randy, and Harold for helping our club and our sport.
